“Wedanda Opticians” was the name when this establishment started its journey in 1993 somewhere near general hospital in Kurunegala. Mr.Kamal Wedanda who was an old boy of Maliyadeva college initiated this after leaving his first career as a trainee optometrist at M/S Albert Ediridinghe Opticians (Pvt) Ltd. He is a full member of Sri Lanka Optometric Association (www.sloa.lk) and he had been a director and the past chairman for the year 2018/2019 of this professional association. Having completed 20 years with hard work and dedicated service to the community, it has moved with a new name EYE CARE OPTOMETRISTS to spacious place at #7, South Circular Road, Kurunegala in 2013 for better and comfortable customer service.
